Michelle Obama factor: simplicity and elegance

*many apparel industry insiders are hoping that the new President and First Lady will reinvigorate an interest in fashion.

*Designer Lauren Moffatt
. "Barack Obama is bringing a fresh, youthful face to the White House," she says. "An air of informality and an easy and natural elegance surround the new First Family. It wouldn't be at all surprising if that trickled down to fashion."
*"It's all about utility today; women can get the most from a cotton dress."

*Bagir's Kimmel cites the combination of utility and ingenuity in Michelle Obama's fashion sense as the key to her fashion influence.

*Designer Moffatt says, "I think this is a reflection on how a confident woman dresses. She doesn't need to spend $1,000 on an outfit to feel good about herself."

*The new democracy in fashion is all about keeping it real, says Stoner. "It's all about getting back to basics. It's about recalibrating our values, goals and objectives, and reflecting our true selves."

After this article,I'm thinking people would want to buy a garment in basic style with basic color or basic style with shocking color.
